itSMF USA adds “Communities of Interest”

May 1, 2015

itSMF USA has announced a “Community of Interest (CoI)” organization.  This new entity will provide a simplified approach for Technology leaders to come together and collaborate through sharing and creation of member intellectual property.  The Community of Interest Groups will replace Special Interest Groups and open the door for a wider audience that will create a virtual presence for all Technology Leaders.

Below is a list of the initial Communities. We will begin transitioning the current Special Interest Groups into Community of Interests and then follow on with new communities as we learn of interest in a particular area.

Initial Communities:

  • ISO/20K
  • Higher Education
  • Problem Management
  • Technology Management & Leadership
  • DevOps/Agile & Service Management
  • Volunteer Leadership (LIGs & CoI)
